Jean-Daniel Chervet

Ruelle des Gerles 6 – 1788 Fribourg

How to get there

The history of Domaine Chervet began around 1820 and with it the expertise of winemaking passed on from father to son for 5 generations.

Constant innovation is an integral part of the family spirit: mechanization of the heaviest work of the vine (1930), planting of the first specialties in Vully (1951) or the development of parchments by the creation of terraces and walls.

In 1972, the winery was rebuilt by Louis Chervet (4th generation). Since then, the wines are vinified according to the most modern knowledge while keeping certain traditional methods: such as aging on lees or aging in wooden barrels for reds.

In the 1990s, Jean-Daniel and Franziska Chervet took over the estate and has continued to bring this family history to life ever since.

The perfect marriage between traditions and technologies allowing the constant improvement of the quality of its wines.

In this way, the wines keep their natural character and distinct from one vintage to another.

Today the estate has 15 hectares planted with 70% white grape varieties and 30% red grape varieties
